The hot and moist pellets are broken easily without being cooled. Pellet cooler can help us prevent the pellets from condensation and mild. So it is necessary to cool the pellets with a counter flow cooler to reduce moisture content. It is widely applied to cut down high temperature of pellets from the pelletizing system.

Working Principle of Cooler
The working principle of cooler is on the basis of blowing air by columns of hot and moist pellets. The airflow is opposite direction of flow of pellets, which will leads to evaporation of moisture from the pellets as well as heat. Then the pellets are cooled successfully. In order to achieve cooling request, pressure and volumetric flow air, length of column and residence time play a key role. It includes cooling chamber, blower, and intake air and cyclone assembly.
